A Picture.

I’ve never done this before. And I am hesitant to do it.

This blog was started as a way for me to get out the messiness in my head about being a twin-mom and living in the Little City. A private way. I haven’t told my family or friends that I keep a blog. Hubby knows but I don’t think he’s ever read it; not to my knowledge at least! I use psuedonyms on the blog like “Hubby” and “Juniper & Magnolia, and Snowdrop” instead of their birth certificate names. (The girls were SUPPOSED to be named Juniper & Magnolia, but after so much “backlash” from our families, they ended up with different names. I still call them Juniper & Magnolia – in addition to the names on their birth certificates – but J & M were supposed to be their names. As far as Snowdrop goes – she just needed a botanical name to go with her sisters. And yes, I call her that regularly as well. ANYWAYS…) I’ve never named the city in which we live. Or the Big City where I came from. I’ve given hints at times based on different things we’ve done here (you could probably figure it out if you really, and I mean REALLY, took the time to dissect all my posts). I’ve tried to be as vague as possible about the true identifiers without revealing our true identities – oh that sounds so spylike doesn’t it? Haha. I assure you, I am not a spy. I’m too paranoid. Clearly, as can be seen by my qualms about posting pictures here. I didn’t want anyone to stumble on my blog and be like “I KNOW THEM!!!” and “WOW – that girl really is a germ-a-phobe… freak.”

But alas, all paranoid things must come to an end someday, right????

It all came down to this. JungleMom commented how there isn’t a picture of our newest baby, Snowdrop. I immediately felt bad for not having one. Afterall, I’ve seen her kids – as well as the kids from ALL the other blogs that I read. I thought, it really isn’t “fair” is it that I’m reading all these other blogs and seeing all these other kids – but that these people can’t in return see mine. So, I “talked it over” with myself and reasoned that I’ve had this here old blog for over a year now, and no one has “found me”. It’s probably “safe” for me to do it.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve WANTED to do this for a while – I’ve got so many great pictures that can go with so many of my posts. I’ve just been afraid of being found out. ANYWAYS, I digress.

So here. For your viewing pleasure. A picture. This was when Snowdrop was three or four days old. May I present to you, my three daughters:

Magnolia, Snowdrop, and Juniper. 

 

I have to note that it took me about seven minutes, approximately, to figure out HOW to upload/insert/etc a photo into the blog. Haha. I’m learning. And I’ll post more pictures in the future. You have my word. 🙂
